I've decided to make this thing unprotected again. What does it matter? Jenn is the only one who reads this anyways, it just makes it easier on her.
 Welcome back, Kristin!
So. I got my schedule for next year worked out a few weeks ago. And there's a problem with it.
My brother's girlfriend says that I shouldn't take Masterpieces of World Literature. Mostly because I'm already taking 16 hours this semester and in that particular lit class there's a bunch of reading. Which isn't a problem for me, except that it's gonna be boring stuff like Hamlet and shit like that. Which I don't handle well. Plus, tons of research papers. I don't need any more research papers. Now the real problem is dropping my lit class and adding some other 3 hour class that will fit into my schedule. And oh yeah, the class has to be open, too. And I'm guessing that a month before school starts there aren't many openings. Here's the schedule::: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30-10:15 Intro to Psychology 11:30-12:20 Survey of American History Tuesday, Thursday 10-11:15 Human Genetics 11:30-12:20 Oral Communication and Critical Thinking 1-2:15 Rhetoric (English) 2:30-3:45 Masterpieces of World Literature. I'm gonna see if I can somehow get into Contemporary American Literature instead of World Lit. I'm not sure if I can, though. I'm supposed to have a prerequisite of any Humanities 1301 class. But none of those fit into my schedule. DAMNIT.
16 hours. Not a great thing for your first semster of college. But if I don't have at least 15 a semester then I get put on scholarship probation. Boo. |
